Life Transitions Workshop

fronttest

A group of residents formed an informal “Life Transitions” committee and presented their proposal at the April Board of Directors Meeting. The discussion can be observed on the BOD video located on our website: http://www.suncity-lincolnhills.org/residents/extras/mediav2/MediaCenterv2.html.

A follow up Workshop will be conducted by the BOD Tuesday, May 15 at 10:30 AM in the OC Front Ballroom. During this workshop Board members and residents will ask questions of the Life Transitions committee members to help define their proposal.

Their proposal asks the question, “What support should the community of Sun City Lincoln Hills provide when a resident is having difficulty with a life-transition or can no longer live independently in the community?” Their proposal is to “Initiate a pilot program to enable our residents to access the resources they need as they age.”

Residents are welcome to attend the Tuesday, May 15 Workshop to listen, ask questions and learn about this proposal before your Board of Directors.
