The Board of Directors of the Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is pleased to announce the successful resolution of the Association’s claims against the developer of the Sun City Lincoln Hills project in the matter entitled: Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association v. Pulte Home Corporation, Case No. SCV 25184 in the Placer County Superior Court.
The action was brought over concerns with the construction of certain common area improvements in our community. The settlement was reached out-of-court without adjudication as to the existence or non-existence of any problems with the construction of the project.
The Board will schedule a special meeting to formalize placement of the net settlement proceeds of $1,646,250 in compliance with the Association’s approved investment policy. A top priority of this Board and the Association will be the implementation of the American Disability Act upgrades at the Orchard Creek Lodge, the Kilaga Springs Lodge, the Sports Complex and at other common areas of the project. Long-term, the Association will need to determine the best way to proceed with non-ADA projects.
